A group of friends who grew up spending time and singing together in Hvar decided to take their singing to a higher level by forming a men’s vocal group – Klapa Gale\u0161nik – in late 2002.<\/p>\n\n
The following year they appeared at their first-timers’ evening of the Dalmatian klapa festival in Omi\u0161. After this debut, they made it to the finals of this most prestigious festival of klapa singing several times.<\/p><\/p>\n\n
In the meantime, they have been frequent participants in Hvar\u2019s cultural life. Their frequent performances have become its integral and recognizable part.<\/p>\n\n
This productive period resulted in their first CD. issued in 2005.<\/p>\n\n
Male vocal group “Gale\u0161nik” has sung in concerts all over Croatia and it is a frequent ambassador of the cultural heritage of Dalmatia outside the country, as well.<\/p>\n\n
